Homeownership

Primavera’s Home Buyer Education program will help you find lenders, secure safe loans, and avoid predatory lending.

The Home Buyer Education program has three steps.

Attend an orientation class to determine which classes you would like to attend
Attend a Homeownership Education class
Meet one-on-one with a housing counselor

Some first-time homebuyers may qualify for down payment assistance. Down payment assistance depends on availability of funds and your income level. Click here to see if you and/or your family might qualify for down payment assistance.

Eligibility

There are no requirements to attended classes!

Our homeownership classes are FREE and open to the public.
There are English and Spanish classes available.

For your orientation class you will be asked to provide the following documentation:

Intake form (click here to download the customer intake form)
Photo ID
Social security card
One month proof of income (pay stubs, SSI, SSD or pension award letters, etc.)
One month bank statement (checking, savings accounts, etc.)
•$20 to gather a pull out complete credit report, or $35 per couple You do not have to pay this fee if you bring a copy of a credit report that has been done in the past three months.
